Christmas Uncanceled!
12 Festive Activities for your Holiday Season

   I don’t know about you, but I think I am suffering from 2020 PTSD. I find myself searching for masks so I can put my children on their bus, bathing in sanitizer as I enter the office (counting my employment blessings), and looking over my shoulder at  every  loud noise for that wave of Japanese murder hornets! As 2020 comes to a close, I hold my breath, hoping the holiday season will be a little more Tiny Tim and a little less Freddy Kruger.

Holiday Cards Spread Cheer Here, There and Everywhere!

   We’re in the day and age where everything is digital and automated. Correspondence and speaking to someone face-to-face (or as close as you can get through the screen) is only a click away, and it feels almost redundant to say sending letters and postcards is a dying art.

The Best Books

      Our usual summer activities may have hit a snag this year, but that hasn’t stopped our local libraries. Like many, the Greece Public Library has had to adapt to changes, though they have continued to promote reading and family time with their Summer 2020 Reading Program and craft projects. Reading is crucial at any age, and the library offers a great deal of resources for everyone in the family.

Healthy = Happy

          I’ve found that the moments I most enjoy usually take place during a time I’m feeling physically well. I'm healthy, well nourished, refreshed, and riding on a full tank!

      However, in the fast-paced society we live in with the types of “convenience foods” that are readily available, I’ve had to dedicate some serious effort to home routines and lifestyle. This keeps not only myself but my entire household healthy so we can feel good more often than not.
